INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPDATING EzyPAASS FREE
1. MAKE A BACKUP IN THE USUAL WAY
2. Drag your EzyPAASS alias if you use one into the trash and Empty trash
3. Rename your current EzyPAASS folder 'old' (no quotation marks or other letters or spaces)
4. Copy the new version of EzyPAASS onto your desktop - from the Downloads folder after you have downloaded it. (Expand the compressed new EzyPAASS FREE file if it hasn’t expanded automatically. A compressed version will have .zip after the name.)
5. Put the 'old' folder inside the EzyPAASS x.xx folder
6. Open the EzyPAASS folder and double click on EzyPAASS x.xx RT
7. Click on the Admin button
8. Click on the Update EzyPAASS button
9. When updating has finished you can make a new alias of the EzyPAASS RT icon or just open EzyPAASS by double clicking the EzyPAASS RT icon inside the EzyPAASS x.xx folder.
10. Rename the ‘old’ folder to ‘old plus today’s date’ (the actual date not those words!). Put it somewhere out of harms way. It can be thrown out at a later date when you are sure you don’t need it.
11. Double click the Alias to open EzyPAASS. Make sure you make backups of the EzyPAASS folder NOT the Alias.
