IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU START
Backups are the Most Important thing you will ever do but seem like a waste of time. The first time you need your backup you will be so glad you have one. Set up a Hard Disc as a Time Machine. In addition make a daily backup of your EzyPAASS folder and any other important files you have onto a USB stick or External Hard Drive. My suggestion is 5 USB sticks for Mon - Fri backups of EzyPAASS and other new / altered files and 2 External Hard drives for alternate weeks complete computer backups. (I use the program Super Duper for these backups.) Take all backups (except Time Machine if you don’t want to) OFF SITE.
1. Download the following:
a. SET UP EzyPAASS FREE for Mac or Windows from the EzyPASS FREE downloads page
b. Paint Desk from the App Store - $8 (for use on a Mac and put it in your Applications folder) OR Windows Paint should already be on your Windows computer.
c. Body Chart / Head chart for your computer from the EzyPASS FREE downloads page for Mac or Windows.
3. Put the EzyPAASS FREE file (or EzyPAASS FREE folder if it has expanded automatically as it should) and Body Chart file on the Desktop
4. Expand the EzyPAASS file if necessary
5. Double click the EzyPAASS FREE x.xx M or W folder and then Double Click EzyPAASS FREE (N.B. On a Mac If you are told the program can’t be opened because it is from an unknown developer go to Settings / Security / General and temporarily set “Application download” from Anywhere.)
6. Click on Open when / if you are asked. If you are asked for a User on either Mac or Windows type in Guest.
7. You can enter your own Practice name, ABN and Physio names / provider numbers by clicking on Admin / Personal Preferences. Also set your Discipline, Country and Region.
8. There is some dummy data already in this version so you can get an idea of what is meant to be there. You can delete this later.
