Payment entry is much easier if you select the Visit you want to pay (Visits / Find / Today’s Visits and select the visit you want to pay).  Click on the Pay button.  This will enter the Patients details into the Payment entry screen automatically along wtih today’s date and the amount owing today.  Alter dates if the payment is for other dates in addition to today.
